Will clean them up over the next few days and post some photos.
For Sale: 1 pair Rectangular Port, Open Chamber aluminum GM heads, casting #3946074, date codes 11 14 73 & 7-10-74. Heads look untouched as far as porting, one head has one exhaust stud tower repair. Has stainless racing valves, 2.19" intake 1.94" exhaust. Will sell with or without roller cam valvesprings. Springs test out to 285 lbs on the seat, 750 lbs at 0.714". Looking for best offer at this point while I research to find out what they are worth. They have been sitting wrapped in plastic in my garage for 15 years. 1 pair Rectangular Port, Closed Chamber iron GM heads, casting #3964291, date codes J 7 75 on both. Have minor port matching done on intake & exhaust, otherwise untouched. Have Manley Severe-Duty stainless valves, no springs. IIRC, two of the valves had minor piston contact and should be replaced (I may replace them for the sale). Valves only had about 50 passes on them when I broke a connecting rod (back in 1988), the heads have been sitting in my garage ever since. Looking for best offer at this point while I research to find out what they are worth. Would be interested in full or partial trade for rectangular port open chamber heads, either aluminum (preferred) or iron. Correction after more research - the aluminum heads are open chamber but have been angle milled. I've got the iron heads at a machine shop getting cleaned and magnafluxed, and should have the aluminum heads cleaned up for photos tonight. (503) 407-1388 Regards,
