Default Who needs gaurdrails!

this track is about 15 miles from my house, it is where my dad used to race, Onondaga Mi.
It has been closed since the late 70's, and somehow these guys are racing on sundays there. Looks like it bites real good, havent taken the fish there yet.

Looked like mostly street race strokes.Thankfully no class cars.A few left from the burnout area. There was a christmas tree and they were using a starter (guy was either very brave or very stupid). If you went off to the right side your car would get a corn stalk sanding.Interesting.

So what would be worse? Hitting a guard rail or running through a bunch of grown field corn.

Thumbs up Re: Who needs gaurdrails!

At least they aren't racing on the street.

I bet they all drive home at the speed limit.
I bet a ride through a cornfield at speed is no picnic either.

Where are the cops? In my teens we used to do the same thing, we would find a no access road, block off both ends and race all night...it was the most fun.

I remember one night there were a bunch of guys drinking and we asked them to stop, when they didn't we just closed up and went home...and it was in New Jersey!
