Thanks Tom, but I already knew that. Tomorrow and it's significance is not far away, and we spoke of 9/11 in advance, so why not Dec. 7th?

"A DAY THAT WILL LIVE IN INFAMY" (FDR), and joel76.

BTW, thanks also to joel76, and 63corvette for their thoughts in my original post, that I just realized is in the lounge.

Furthermore, I don't race a Z28, I race a Z24, thus I'm not "GarysZ28"...if I ever race a rwd car again, it'll most likely be either a Malibu, or a "Mopar"...something about those Savoy's, Belvedere's, Coronet's, Fury's and Darts....

Each day we lose thousands of what was the greatest generation in the History of our country.

God Bless them and thanks for my freedom!

For those that weren't around when that happened, me include. You can watch some great footage on the History Channel Today. Some of the details that transpired before and after the attack will Fire any one up. I had a chance to go to the Pearl Harbor memorial on my Honey Moon back in 97. What a Beautiful site to see. I Guarantee you will not leave with a dry eye.

Thanks Ron, I try and catch that this evening. I too hope to visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial, because I feel like I have a personal attachment to the tragic event even though I wasn't to begin my life for 17 more years. This day, and it's tragic significance to our country strongly underscores why I got so FIRED UP every time I raced an import at Bandimere Speedway (especially Japanese ones). I had great success against them with my Cavalier, and I even had my sponsor "Exhaust Pros", tell me that some import fans showed up there to hop up their exhaust systems because of how my car ran/sounded, and they told the owner that they were hoping they didn't have to race me...I think of our people who had to go thru that tragic ordeal (and their families), every time I line up next to any of them...no I'LL NEVER FORGET!!!
