Question optispark info.

just the name scares me , What should i do to it to run stock ? I have seen it destroy the rotor etc. Should i do any modification before i use it ? just a q jet guy going hi tech . Mike???

Use a crank trigger.....buy an MSD cap and rotor for the stock distributer. Remove the rest of the stuff inside the distributer. Thats what I did and it worked fine for 3 years with no problems. I put the car together in 2006, raced it, sold the car and it was still running with all the same parts untill last month......

Do not use a MSD opti unless you enjoy changing them and shipping them back every couple of months for warranty repairs.
