Does anyone have any info on getting into the track? Last year they had us drive all the way around the track to get in.
Thanks Sean

I talked with a lady this morning at Gateway and she said that you come in on the back side of the track on the spectator side like we did last year. Also if you are coming in on the Illinois side on I-64 west like we do, that exit is still closed where we used to get off. Now you need to go I-255 North and then get on I-55 south going back into St. Louis. You then get off at Exit 4B to get to the track.

Thanks Larry. It looks like the weather will be much better than last year. I was unable to make it back when they rescheduled due to all the rain.

Gents, To come in on the back side of the track as you did last year, traveling South on I-55 you want to use exit 4A. The 4b exit will take you to the truck stop.
Hope to see you all there. |

I asked the track about parking yesterday, and they are still working out the details. It looks like the track has paid pit spots, and this weekends race is going to have several different classes going on. I was trying to avoid getting set up in someones paid spot and then having to move.
Below is the response I received To Sean, Enter Collinsville Road. At this time parking has not been decided/announced.

Let me know if the track is going to honor the weekly prepaid parking. If the track does that I am sure it will be a very successful event. I wonder what will happen at the national event when "ABC" pro team parks in someone's reserved spot.
My question, is this race the weekly program or a National open? Last edited by Larry Hill; 04-10-2013 at 08:16 PM. |
