Well guys I am making it official as we are putting up the second half of the money for the Stock/Super Stock combo June 25th to the 27th. There will be a guaranteed 10K USD purse for first place finish this year (5K USD last year with same criteria) with a minimum of 48 cars (not much too ask considering the purse). Napierville Dragway is a wonderful facily with all the amenities , hotels near by and a cantene ready to serve you at all times. This notification should give most of you enough time to get your passports in order, I know crossing the border is never any fun but we do it all the time to go down there and play with you guys so please take this meet into consideration you won't be dissapointed. We want you guys to come up and enjoy our home track as we do for you, it is one of the best kept secrets of Division 1, all the guys that usually make the trek have a blast on or off the track and you have more time trials than you could ever imagine. I look forward to seeing positive feedback on this post as only good can come out of this for all parties involved (Owner/Drivers, Napierville Dragway and NHRA).
Website: www.napiervilledragway.com Note: Hotels near by are posted on their site as well. Thanx. |

What are the ramifications of crossing with a race car? I haven't done this is many moons (the old Grandnational days). Do you have to post a bond? Thanks.

Don, to be honest with you when we go to the US we declare where we are going, why and what we have in the trailer and most of them (border guys) are okay but sometimes they bring you in to look at what you got. Maybe someone who comes up regularly from the US to Napierville can post a comment or protocol to get thru.
Thanx. |

All you need is a passport. They`ll ask you where you`re going on the way up and where have you been on the way back. They never look in the trailer on the way up but do ask what you have to be left behind (which is usually nothing). On the way back they look in the trailer and ask a few questions.

Went there in '08 and had a great time -- as many time trials as your tires can stand along with a fast track if you decide to set a record .As far as the border is concerned it was a breeze with minimal questions .........I may try and return this year if they approve my passport ....................something about Canada already has too many used car guys .

Great people that really love racing, huge purse, they have done everything to get racers to go there. The border is no big deal. You won't be dissappointed. You can stop in Lake George on the way or visit Montreal if you make a vacation out of it. FUN FUN FUN
