I know this isn't class racing, but John Labbous, Jr. (along with Sr., I'm sure) won the K & N Spring Fling in Super Pro on Thurs, Fri, and Sat. Still haven't seen any results from Sunday. That is pretty impressive. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

Larry the results are up on DRC now. I have some pictures from the race. Man I am sure glad that I don't have to race with those guys. The packages they put together were unbelievable.
I wish we could get Pete Biondo and Kyle Seipel to promote a race like the K&N Spring Flings 20's for us stk/ss guys. You had so many chances to win stuff you would not believe. Fire suits, practice tree's, weather stations slicks, vacations, lots of money and more. I had a link to the live feed from the track, but it did not draw much interest from the stk/ss guys. I heard everyone had a great time. They had a killer barbeque it was a memorial barbeque for Jim Harrington that Anthony Bertozzi put on. You can see that that Alan Reinhart was announcing. Kyle Seipel giving Jeg jr a certificate for the tires he won. There is Pete Biondo talking to the TV crew, it will be on Fox Sport Network, a 30 min show. And of coarse the guy who had the big pay day, Johnny Labbous, Jr in the center, $52,500.00 nice! looks like we need a race like this. |

Junior Houston defeated Brian Folks in Sunday's $20K. There were also two separate winner-take-all shootout races: Jason Lynch won the dragster shootout and Luke Bogacki won the door car shootout. Lynch beat Bogacki in the King of the Mountain Shootout to win an expense-paid trip to Las Vegas.
Fletcher and I were there donating... I was footbraking the Volare. I understand Fletcher put a box in the Super Stocker -- went a few rounds here and there. He put Alan Reinhart in his Stocker, who footbraked to an .012 bulb with no time shots on the first hit! ![]() Tough, tough racing... fun, FUN racing. Loved the 1000' racing! Thanks to Pete, Kyle, and everyone who helped put on the event! There's an event recap and photo gallery on www.bracketraces.com
