My Favorite Super Stock Race

The event that really sealed the deal on my love of this class was no doubt, the 1968 Winternationals at Pomona Raceway. What a unreal show with so many stars and incredible cars. The Cobra Jets debut, all the big Chrysler teams, the Chevys and so on. It was really something to see during the early morning time runs how the cars were nose to tail thru the staging lanes, around the turn and all the way up to the starting line. If ya go back and research the field, it was beyond stout, and super stiff competition.
