Question Lesser Cost Enclosed trailer?

Goldrush, TandE produce THE trailers for long term use. Keep the value and remain good looking with abuse of in and out of pits. High Value, Higher cost.
Now for enclosed trailer to be used on Highway for protecting car and Lower cost what brand seems to be Long term lower cost? Pace, Featherlite Shadow? Haulmark?
Any definite NOT buy features?
Getting into taking collector vehicle but dont want to break the Bank with trailer that sits most of the time indoors.
Thanks,
Dick

I hate my Haulmark. Will not buy another.
I've owned 2 Pace trailers and they were great.

Thumbs up Re: Lesser Cost Enclosed trailer?

I agree with Chip and Woodro......Its hard to beat a Pace for the money and they stand behind thier product. By the way how are you doing Woodro?

Dick, our Exiss is 5 years old and we've had no problems out of it (aside from sone asshole hitting it). Sure it doesn't have the fit/finish of a T/E but its was less than half the price, and its a ton (or several) lighter than an equivalent vintage/pace/etc which use plywood as structure.

If you're going to use it a lot then buy the best aluminum trailer with dovetail and driver's side opening door. Get measurements of the fender height inside the trailer and measure the car you're going to carry to ensure you can open the door when the car is inside the trailer. Heavy duty axels and big brakes and at least 16" wheels>

I tried to cut corners and bought an off brand and what a mistake that was.

Had a Pace or Vintage been available within $500 of what I paid for my Haulmark, I would have bought them first. But, for $4500, I coudnt skip over it. My basic 2005 24' Haulmark has treated me perfect. Other than replacing the tires at exactly 4 years, greasing the hubs, and just recently adjusting the brakes. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done and I keep it clean, so everyone actually compliments it once in a while. Do get the 5200 pound axles.
The 48" side door is nice, too.

We own a Team Spirit trailer and so far it's been great, We've only owned it about a year. But it looks pretty well build, and they are a smaller family owned business, They were great to deal with.

ours was $8995 With
upper and lower aluminum cabinets
Long RV tongue
60" side door for the golf cart
6000 lbs axles
16 inch wheels and tires
LED light package
Flush locks on all the doors
110v and 12v interior lights
Vinyl interior walls
Etc etc etc.
