69' Nova with a BBC Chevy and a Holley 4150 carb, stock floor. Currently it has a stock style rod linkage that has been reinforced. It also has a positive stop on the firewall to prevent over extending of the throttle shafts passed WOT. I would still like to convert the car to a cable linkage to improve consistency and eliminate one more variable as far as consistent throttle opening goes.
Although Lokar doesn't list a pedal for 68-74 Novas, it seems like the 67-69 Camaro pedal would work. The Throttle arm shaft bushing that goes through the firewall is the same part # for 68-69 Camaro's as the Nova. I believe 67 differs in that its metal? This leads me to believe that the throttle pedal is on the same angle in the camaros as the Nova's. Many years ago I pulled a cable linkage pedal out of an early 70's Nova with the intention of one day putting it on the car. Since I was living at mom and dad's at the time and it didn't make the move with me, I'm not sure if I'll be able to find it at their house. If thats the case, I'm interested in a lokar pedal, just wondering if they're worth $120 plus whatever the cable is and linkage plate with return springs that Jegs has and If anyone has successfully mated the 67-69 Camaro pedal to a 68-74 Nova. Thanks in advance.

70's nova cable will work and is avalable. GM Parts Direct still sells the cable p/n 3998632 and im sure you can round up a pedal at a local scrap yard. If not you can call Bob at Camaro Specialties and he will definitly have one in stock and will probably ship to you as well. Hes in Aroura NY. His wesite is http://www.camaros.com. If your anywhere close its worth the drive to see what this guy has. Its rediculous. Everyone says 12 Bolts and Muncies are hard to find....this guy has walls full of them...LOL
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, I may have snagged a pedal on Ebay. I heard good and bad reviews on the Lokar pedals, so I'll hold off on spending $120 on one!

I use to use a 1970 or so Ford Maverick throttle cable and gas pedal assembly-- pedal will bolt to the firewall -works real well flexible AND it has both a tab to fasten the cable to an L bracket as well as a built in return spring---also has a snap on end to fasten to a ball stud on the carb arm---Comp 387
