Question Engine Fogging EFI Engines ???

In my recent venture into LT1 EFI racing, the question arises..... can I fog the EFI engine before winter storage in the same manner I used to fog the carb motor by spraying the Amsoil Fogging spray into the carb or squirting the Marvel Mystery Oil ( or whatever you prefer ) in the air horn during idle ??? Is there a better way to do this or will it mess up anything ???

I too have wondered about this...and have erred on the side of not trying it on my dime..could you clog a injector, take out a 0-2 sensor, etc etc......I just don't know....I don't know if I have ever seen a EFI racer do it...

..I am a bit surprised we haven't got a environmental death cloud warning about the practice in the pits though.....

I pull my engine, pull the rockers , then the headers, so I can oil the cylinders through the spark plug holes. I don't know about getting all the cylinders via the throttle body on the front of the LT1 manifold. I would rather not get that stuff on my 02 sensors anyway.

Yours may be easier to work on than mine.

I fogged my LS1 motor once , it's makes a horrible mess due to the intake being "dry" . I am certain there are benefits to doing this, but you end up with a messy intake. My .02
