Two race's in LA. in May. How about one in April. Hell it don't matter, I will go anyway.
And why are they running the Baton Rouge race the same weekend as No Problem.

well they did just move the No Problem race, but why make the racers choose. IHRA should spread its schedule out some anyway.

Thunder Road is the same track in the same location as Red River. It changed ownership last year and the name was changed also.
And yes it is about 25 miles North of Shreveport in Gillam. Myron was there 2001 driving the same Locomotion car as he runs today. The 2001 the IHRA World Finals. Only one more Nationals was held there the next year. It is a very nice track, well laid out, racer friendly.

O my yes, must stay on paved areas! It is that black gumbo soil, you do not leave tracks, you pick them up and take them with you
![]() It does have large paved areas but for a National just not enough.

That is the reason why when I won the IHRA National in Epping ,New Hampshire, I got winners hats in the mail that said "Boston"
