Question Coil over shock kits for stock GM "A" arms

Time to upgrade the front end of my 72 nova 496 BBC. Trying to soften the launch and compression. Right now I have stock springs (don't know the rate) with Comp Eng adjustables. and bolt in limiters. This set up leaves me few options to tune.
Looking at the QA-1 and Verishock setups. Anyone out there have any experience with these? These look like my best options to achive my goals with out spending the big dough on tubular A arms and coil overs.
