Talking Superstock gt factors

I am trying to figure out the correct weight for the following:

1967 Ford mustang coupe/hardtop
1973 351c engine rated @ 246hp (engine blueprint says 246, car classification says 266hp)

I was told it fits in GT/EA, GT/FA. what is the correct weights for this combo.

Starting season in ss/modified, but building gt motor as backup. Thanks for the help.

Richard, if my math is correct it should be a natural GT/EA with the 73 engine. The weights would be GT/DA 2830 GT/EA 2970 GT/FA 3110. I think thats correct.

Richard, The shipping weight for a '67 Mustang coupe is 3075. You must use the heavyest engine when figuring for GT classes, that is a 390.

The '73 351C 246 or 266 are both refactored to 280 for GT classes. Here would be your class weights with driver:

GT/EA = 2995 (car cannot go up to class break, 10.09)
GT/FA = 3110
GT/GA = 3250
GT/HA = 3390

Thanks everyone!, Bubski, I already have a 304 Modified motor in the car now which is sqeezing me dry and making me a nervous wreck, LOL. Throttle body and FI would make me crazy. Mr Eiskant Sr & Jr will take care of my nerves for me.
