Live from the Phoenix LODRS

Hello, everybody. I finally made it to the track about an hour ago. Flew into Ontario, CA on Tuesday. There was a minor problem with the tranny that needed to be fixed. Our tranny guy, Dave Flores, fixed it for us this morning. Then the last one of my old Goodyear tires on the truck went bad. Not sure when it happened, but it wouldn't hold air anymore. Went to the Walmart in Redlands, CA and took it off to see what was going on. The sidewall started to peel off by the bead. Took it in to get a Uniroyal tire, but this store didn't carry any. So I put the spare on went to the Walmart in Beaumont. That old Goodyear probably has about 100K miles on it, but it was good for $44 off the new one on the pro-rate. Only bad thing about it was it took at least two hours for somebody to start working on it. I have Uniroyals on all the rims now. They seem to be a lot better tire.

You know how Andy's Dad is always bragging about the weather in southern cal? Well, it was rainy and miserable there today. It's nice and warm here in Phoenix though.

Got a fresh motor and trans in the Whale now. Gonna try to do some testing and tuning tomorrow.

I'll try to keep you updated on what's happening here. I'm going to try something a little different this year. Well, better get to bed. Lost a hour from LA to here.
