I use Pennzoil Type F. Usually buy a couple cases when I find it.

Been using Mopar ATF4 for a few years now. shift quality is comparable to Type F, but it holds up to high temps much better.
I just tried it since we had it at the dealership, and F was getting harder to find .
Many of my customers have been using it in their cars with good results.

I'll second that. Better heat resistance, durability and wear of a synthetic fluid with a race formulation. When I took my trans in for a freshening after several years, my trans builder suggested that I keep using whatever I was using.

Allison TranSynd, nothing better. Made by Castrol exclusively for Allison, to their specs.

Been using it since 2005.

Amsoil Super Shift.
Sent tranny and convertor back for rebuild with 900 runs on it. Looked great. In fact conv was cut open and welded back. Trans needed nothing but the broke input shaft replaced.
