one of the the items you mite want to invest in a play back tach or a data logger that reads engine rpm and drive shaft speed ,this will give you the data needed to work on your combo and see where your rpm flash launch ,wheel speed ,or traction loss ,the way ihave my car set up is industrial roller bearing micro switch on the back side of the brake arm with good adjustabuilty ,,two step set at 3400 holding the car at 900 psi on the brake gauge ,smoothly roll into the gas until you foot is on the floor and release the brake ,and hang on ,,if you have a play back tach you can see where your converter peaks once it comes off the two step gmonde

First of all , you will have to change that 4.56 for a 5.13 gear ; after that and all the other go fast tricks that you will pick up once you take the stocker plunge , you can play with starting line techniques

As long as the valve train will handle 5.13 gears and tires are sized accordingly. Converter seems conservative also. But you'll know more with a playback tach. I learned A LOT with my Autometer.

I footbrake, so I can't help you with the 2-step.

Gary's combo is really fast. Mine won't be anywhere near that fast anytime soon. Lisyten to Gary he knows what it takes on that combo.
