Default 4 U/SA cars at one race.

It is getting tough on me to race in the Southern Stock Super Stock Association. How in the world can 4 U/SA's show up at the same race, is this Indy? I can see 4 or 5 A/SA or B/SA's but U/SA. It was fun, but unusual, guess I'll have to get used to it.

If Billy Nees continues with his "Dime Rockets" there could possibly be another two or three U/SA cars showing up. And you all out there thought the Cobra Jets and DP's were quick. Darran Summerton shows up with a Caddy Seville combo and runs an 8.77 in the eighth. Now this Caddy has steel wheels and a stock engine, it is a street car. Thank you Bob Shaw.

If all you other U/SA cars up North want to get out of the wonderful weather up there, come to Florida. It is a retirement area for U/SA

U/SA Bob, you are welcome too

Mickey, you can't move down anywhere from U with a V8.

So, who were the other two? How'd they qualify?

I want to thank Merrill Schrimsher with Precision Automotive in Longwood FL and Paul Forte from TurboAction in Jacksonville FL for putting up the money for the U/SA shootout. it was great to see Paul bring his SS/JA Camaro out again. It ran great!

Thanks Merrill & Paul for putting the U/SA Shootout together. They arranged it to be in qualifying and it was the only thing that was "cool". It was very hot out plus we were on the asphalt which really cooked things up. Great time though, looking foward to Bradenton.

If Billy is coming down to see The Don, I'm pretty sure that he will want to see me as we are friends, though one of us will not admit it. I feel if that I can get him to come over and just glance at my motor it will pick up a tenth or so. And, as an extra bonus, a correct definitions course.
