![]() ![]() Hello All. I bought this 1967 Corvette last month. I'm interested in finding out some of its past history. I was told the car was originlly from the Tide Water VA area. Belived to be a red BB car. Car was sold in the early to mid 70s to a man in NJ where it remained till 2004. In 2004 it was sold to a man named Jean in Alabama, who never raced it. The car was sold again in 2009 to Chuck the guy I got the car from. I know the car raced in the Supercar Challenge in 2004 at Atco NJ on Nov 13 2004, By a man named Eric (Ewe) Moses. Where he won his class. Pics @ www.racesupercars.com/photogallery_atco.html & www.racesupercars.com/raceresults_atco.html Any info and or pics anybody can give me would be appericated. I plan to run the car in S/G, but it would be neat to know if the car was a Stocker or Super Stocker or a Modifide Production car. Or All of The Above! Thanks in advance Cal 301 659 5170 |

Hello Again
I was also told the car has been a race car pretty much so, since it was new. Also there are 2 decals/stickers on the rear window. 1 from the 1974 Englishtown Nationals & 1 from the 1975 Gator Nationals. Also it is possible the car was updated at Never Lift, or another PRO type chassie shop in NJ around 2002. Thanks again Cal 301 659 5170 |

Have you checked with Wayne Walker? (Zip Products) He is a Corvette guy and raced during the same time period. I ran Super Stock at the 75 Gators and will attempt to locate my old program.

Duane, You are too kind! I guess you must be in the Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas and hope to see you soon.
I looked at the program and there were four 1967 Corvettes in Modified:. Robert Thompson, Havertown Pa, Ferd Napfel, Baltimore MD, Leon Leonard, Harrodsburg, KY and Lee Shepherd from Texas. The only (mid-year) Corvette competing in Super Stock was Amy Faulk and stock was not contested in 1975

Thompson's & Shephard's were both fastbacks - Thompson's was yellow. But your's looks like a removable hardtop. The other two I don't remember |
