I am thinking about building a 89 LX Notchback 5.0 with a Automatic for NHRA stock elimanator.I have been bracket racing for a long time now and I am looking to change. Any input would be grate. Also would like to see some pictures of any 87-93 5.0 Stockers. Also if there are any for sale I would be interestred in hearing about those also. If I could find a good turn key car might buy it to get started and then build the one I have.

What are you going to do Tim, if it goes bye-bye. Do you have another project in the wings? Inquiring minds want to know!

You can get a mustang under the index fairly easy, how far you want to go under is all cubic dollars. When I built mine I was under the index by a .1 of a second with a stock motor with the stock cam. It did take some chassis work, rear gears and a converter. PM if you have questions on what is the biggest bang for your buck.
