"LOCAL" S/SS COMBOS Looking good!
WOW! What a good year for "local" racing with in 400 miles of my home.
I have a full season of racing looking forward to. May 12 = BIR S/SS COMBO MAY 26+27 = TOP END DRAG WAYS NAT. Open + Midwest Class Racers S/SS COMBO Sponsored by : Water Town FORD CHRYSLER June 1-3 = BIR Div.5 L.O.D.R.S. June 9 = BIR S/SS COMBO -OR- June 9 +10 MARION S.D. Midwest Class Racers S/SS COMBO Sponsored by : Water Town FORD CHRYSLER JUNE 30 = BIR S/SS COMBO JULY 14 +15= MARION S.D. Midwest Class Racers S/SS COMBO Sponsored by : Water Town FORD CHRYSLER JULY 21 = BIR S/SS COMBO AUG. 4 = BIR S/SS COMBO Aug 16-19 = BIR Lucas Oil NATIONAL EVENT Sept. 7-9 Earlville IA. Well it's a heck of a lot cheaper than going to that that many national or divisional races. Fuel bill would probably be double or triple.

Odd that BIR would schedule a one day (June 9th) S/SS race on the same weekend that Midwest Class Racers hosts a two day S/SS event at TVD (June 9-10).......

The way I got it was that was the only open time at BIR for drags due to road racing and other happenings at BIR.
BIR has something going every week all summer long. It's a full calender for them. So take your pick I guess  ?Back in the day ($0.99 A GALLON GAS) I would have hit BIR on Sat. AND Marion SUN. Glen DeMenge Quote:
