The same storm cells that came through South Indiana and the Louisville, Ky area went right towards my home in Northern, Ky. We got lucky with just small damage but others a 1/2 mile or so from us have lost their houses. I was up all night last night here in Afghanistan watching the radar and talking with family wishing I could be there to help. This sucks.

We have been lucky and last night we had rain, hail and some wind. Those folks in Dekalb County, AL,about 5 miles from us the way the crow flies, were not so lucky last year killed around 235 folks. Had one hit about a mile across the lake thats when we put in a storm shelter about 6 years ago and thank the god we haven't had to use it. We make good use of the weather radio, tv and stay alert. This area doesn't like warm and cool weather together....
