leaf spring help

I need some help on what/which leaf springs to buy. I have a 77 nova 2 door and I put
slide a links on it. It has a multileaf stock spring with 5 leafs.

it doesnt hook real good and I was told my problem was in the leaf springs. Where there were stiff and multi leafed, it wouldnt let the rear roll and lift like it should.

I flat dont know what to buy and dont know who to ask....I was told buy one company to purchase about the same thing but then another company was trying to sell a split leaf....was told by another company splits were just flat dangerous....go with a mono leaf

any help would be appreciated...
