Effective immediately, the American Drag Racing League will begin accepting entries for its new SuperCar Showdown category which will present the world’s quickest and fastest production automobiles in national competition.
Competitors may contact Tom Grooms, the ADRL’s Director of Competition, at Tom@ADRL.us to enter the ADRL Spring Drags III to be held at Bristol (TN) Dragway on April 20-21, 2012, and the ADRL Northeast Drags II to be held at Maple Grove (PA) Raceway on May 4-5, 2012. Competitors are reminded to act quickly since the number of SuperCar Showdown entry requests will be limited for each ADRL national event. Competitors will be required to complete an information registry, supplied by the ADRL, to be used in event promotion. The complete SuperCar Showdown rules are available at http://www.adrl.us/wp-content/upload...-2012-v1.0.pdf. More information can also be obtained from the ADRL’s Director of Technical Services, Chris Bell, (Chris@ADRL.us), and the ADRL’s SuperCar Showdown Technical Director, Jimmy Holzman, (Jimmy@ADRL.us). |

Seriously, if anybody is going to these races, please contact Tom Grooms so parking can be planned. With the SCS cars in the first row, it's fairly critical to know how much space to leave for the trailers. Please let us know ASAP.

Thanks for your input, Mr. Karnac. I'll pass the word the ADRL is dead.

But Frito sees great things for the SCS. It is for sure putting some new butts in the seats. Mine and a van full of friends.

Darn, Frito! Now I have to forward a whole new message!
Fritos have been around for more than a half-century. Karnac has a great stage show in the '60s but let's face facts: he was WRONG ninety-nine percent of the time even back then. Yep. I'm goin' with Frito. |

Good job on the history of the comedic Carnac ------------------------------------------------------------ KARNAC is a system being developed in the United States for use in profiling different categories of terrorist attacks to determine the components of possible future terrorist incidents. Information for KARNAC is generally to be derived from structured, semi-structured and unstructured databases. This would include information derived from gun registrations, driver's licenses, residential and criminal records, as well as the Internet, newspapers and county records. For example the system might raise an alert if someone attempted to buy components for bomb making, hired a car and rented a hotel room near the White House. ------------------------------------------------------------- BTW - Bret I mentioned this before - I sent you and email I hope it went unnoticed instead of just being ignored Ron :-) peace

A well educated and articulate person would have likely spelled "viral", correctly.

Spelling aside, it grows tiresome for some people to continually want to "stir the pot", not offer anything constructive in the least. Hope Bristol sees a growth in the class, ADRL has a good chance of filling the stands at Bristol, that's serious racing country...
