Smile Grumpys Toys Book

A authorized book about Grumpy Jenkins and his Toys is on the book shelves now.Just got mine off of Amazon.com.The book is by Doug Boyce ,and has 175 pages,and 300 pics of the Grump from his Stocker,to Pro Stocker years.Talked to Doug recently,and he says he is working on a Stocker book.

Got mine last week.Nice book.There's a little section about "Spider"Spanakos and his brother with the Monster Mash I and II.And I even got a .42 cent rebate from Amazon
because of a drop in the price of the book.Kind of like a contingency payout.

Very good stories. Recommended. But, I was disappointed at the printer's multi typo errors.

Agreed, the few type errors are disappointing but I think they are nearly impossible to avoid.
Those who have picked up the book, or are going to (thanks X-TECH MAN), here are a few errors I came across and the corrections;
1- pg 55 caption notes Exton where as the photo notes Berwyn. Don't ask what I was thinking but my mistake.
2- pg 101. Bill picked up a "body in white", not a white car. Editors error.
3- pg 165. Photo notes an 8 barrel, technically it has 8 barrels but the carb was created so that only 6 are operatioanable. Editors error.
Just the same, as a fan first, it's a pleasure to read and was a joy to do.
