Yes lets try and put these old Sox & Martin photos of their B029's in chronological order or at least try too...white hood w/blue stripe, Barracuda lettering on nose, 426 Hemi call outs on hood, Lil Boss on fenders.

1968 NHRA Springnationals
Englishtown, New Jersey (June 14,15,16 1968) Sox & Martin SS/B Class Winner During Time Trials and Class Eliminations, this car ran nearly 6/10's under the 10.91 National Record (set by Don Grotheer 1-week earlier). In the First Round of Super Stock Eliminator, Ronnie Sox spun the left (driver side) GoodYear slick off the Keystone wheel as he left the line. As you can see, this car has a blue hood with a white center stripe. Also, this car had a white stripe on the roof and trunk deck-lid. Does anyone here know if that is a 'Hot Sheet' that is stuck on the front windshield on the Sox & Martin '68 Hemi Cuda, or is it something else.

More of the 1968 NHRA Springnationals @ Englishtown, New Jersey
(June 14, 15, 16 1968) Note; The car does not photograph well with the blue hood. ![]() Last edited by Paul Ceasrine; 03-18-2012 at 08:42 AM. |

Has there ever been a better looking race car than the Sox & Martin BO29?
