Good afternoon - Well the normal 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive to the Catskill region of New York took a bit longer today due to traffic and road construction - welcome to Summer ! ! ! That and the temperature is to the the high nineties later today .

Test n Tune is to start at 3 pm and this racer plans on sitting it out .I'll try and sneak around later for some dirt but I'm sure there will be no record shattering performances .Later .......

Welcome to the other side of the river Jack, glad you made the trip.

Keep in mind that at some point this weekend there will be a weather change, could be some wind etc. The locals at the valley often say that a head wind is the norm, if it turns into a tail wind, take down your canopy and awning and take cover.

We're a couple of hours into the test n tune and its going as expected - temp in the mid-90's - humid and not much starting line .Eighty-seven cars signed up but not many are showing up in the lanes - they just called Alcohol - that should be interesting ............

OK - you want dirt -- here it is .........Our very own Stock and SuperStock ace 'Lil Joey Santangelo just made a pass in Vinny Barone's Comp Street Roadster and is I'm told slated to drive it this weekend and next .

Good morning - During the night we were greeted by some pretty hard rain but only for a short period .Enough to make everything very wet but not enough to hold things up much .At this moment its still overcast but the outlook is good for the day .Warming up some and of coarse plenty of humidity in the air .Temp - 71 degrees - 73% humidity - .51 vapor pressure - barometer a whopping 29.12 ---- 82 grains of water ...DA around 2500 already..its gonna be extra slow out there today .

Things are to get going at 8:30 starting off with Stock .........

I'll be back in a bit after I see what the track looks like .

What a difference an hour makes - the Sun has returned and is burning off the moisture - start time now around 9 am ..........

Stock got their first hit and a great many were surprized - they hooked ! ! But don't get too excited as with a 3550 DA no one went fast this morning ........

SuperStock out in about an hour ....

I'll post results as they become available .

To size it up - most I spoke with were .20 slower than Saturday at Englishtown and went slower than at the Numedia race .
