I am getting ready to add an inline C02 throttle stop to my car. I currently have an air shifter on the car.
Is it ok to use the same CO2 bottle for the throttle stop? Has anyone tried this? thanks kevin |

Not really, just make sure you don't have any leaks. I do have a solenoid that shuts the bottle off when the ign is off....

I switched to the larger 2 1/2 lb bottle a couple years ago and shift and stop with it and I can run at least 3 events with no fill and more. I'd think about that.

HR3964, I would keep an extra bottle in your trailer. There is a guy that fills the bottles at all the NHRA Div 3 races so I never worry about it. But I have an extra bottle. Last edited by Bob Verwold; 08-21-2012 at 11:56 AM. |
