He made quite a bit of profit on that. I wonder if he had any other reason for selling it. I thought GM did a good job of keeping the COPO' out of the hands of collectors who were just going to flip them.

There is one on Racing junk for $98,000. The e-bay purchaser paid $102,000 too much!

I doubt it sold for $200k

He had a friend pretend to buy it - to get people all jacked up

We will never know for sure - regardless of the ebay rules and safe guards

That one has "just" $9,800 markup (from $88,200 cost w/stripes)...a bit more in line with what one might expect.
