Default Tech Card

If you fill out and print a tech card on the registration site, will that do to get in a race or do you still have to fill out the card? I typed the damn thing in and it's so pretty compared to my really bad penmanship on a card. Just wondering.

I did that for gainesville and they took it. It's nice not having to fill that thing out every race. My damn hand gets all cramped up by the end....haha

I used to stick a label over mine with all of the necessary info on it, but you might not be able to do that at NHRA events.

I did that once, just printed it out. They took it just fine. Next race they refused it. Had to go fill one out by hand. Don't know why they even have it if we can't use it.

I printed mine on card stock and trimed the sides to look like the ones they give us and then signed it, we'll see how that goes. Sure is a lot easier and less painful.

I do the online tech card also, but when I get to the track, I still have to fill out the top fold portion of the "Long" tech card to give the ladies at the registration trailer. The online tech card is a real time saver.

Did you print it on two sheets of paper or one(side one, side 2 or duplexed) ? I tried it at the Div 1 race and they would not take it, got the hand cramp treatment.

Will try again in Charlotte.

I've been doing it for years at the Nationals I go to. Never have had a problem with them taking it. For whatever reason, I have never tried to print one out for a divisional.

You do it to frustrate your division tech officials....
