Default Lower Control Arm Question

Do any of you guy's know if a lower control arm (LCA) off of a 69 Pontiac Gran Prix and a 70 Chevelle are the same? The Pontiac rear LCA bushing is an oval shape and the rear bushing on the Chevelle is round.

Are the LCA's the same other than the rear bushing difference and is the LCA with an oval bushing OK to use on a stocker?

Default Re: Lower Control Arm Question

the Lower control arm on a 70 chevelle can be oval or round, depending on what suspension package or build date the car is

the only problem with the oval bushing is finding low friction replacement bushings.
