A engine diaper is required for all S/ST cars. It does not have to be an SFI certified diaper but I assume one made by a recognised manufacturer. Universal fit diapers do the job and will run probably around $180. Contact Dennis from DRE and he can fix you up.

Mandatory if you run over 135 mph and well worth it. If you ever have a blow up, you will be very glad you had one.

straight from this years rule book sec 7 page 2
OIL-RETENTION DEVICE All vehicles must utilize an NHRA-accepted lower engine oilretention device; may use a belly pan in lieu of a device attached to the engine. If belly pan is used, must extend from framerail to framerail and extend forward of the harmonic balancer and rearward to rear-engine plate and must incorporate a minimum 2- inch-high lip on all sides. A nonflammable, oil-absorbent liner mandatory inside of retention device. See General Regulations 1:8. don't get confused with the gen regs. the above rule is specifically for sst. all vehicles need a diaper no matter what et's or mph they run. Your div director or tech guys should be able to answer any questions you have. Hope this helps
