Default favorite races.

I am just a fan so don't have a dog in the fight so to speak. After reading some of the comments about different races and how the hra's run their races was wondering. What is your favorite events to race? When you are making up your schedule which ones are the first one that you know year in and year out your running? Why is that what makes the good from the bad?

My three favorite races of the year, to race, were always at the end of the season.

-U.S. Nationals at Indy (easy enough)
-Dutch Classic at Maple Grove (fun race, fast race, and lots of cars)
-the annual year-end S/SS races at Hagerstown MD in November (two races I put on each year, and 2013 will be the nineteenth straight year there for them for me [they've been going on longer than that, the race has really grown over the past 12 years]. Every year has had over thirty cars except two). Best way to wrap-up the Class Racing season in the Northeast.

My favorite races are:

Gatornationals(Gainesville, FL), cause you know that the racing season for the East Coast has officially started.

Cajun SportsNationals(Belle Rose, LA), Class, CIC + Eliminator for Stk/SS and its like a big 4 day party and a race broke out, lol.

Napierville National Open, kinda partial to its since its our home track and we try to put on a good combo race for Stk/SS guys

US Nationals, "The Big Go", need I say more.

Reading National, if the weather is holds up its Bada$$, great setting, late in the season, points chases and if its cool out, its bad fast!

Epping, NH Divisional, we take that week to go to the Hamptons with the family on vaca before hand

Hopefully the new Class Nationals in Columbus next year in May, hope all Stk/SS "class racers" will support what seems to be a very well organized and cool race, c u all there

1.) The Winter Open at Orlando Speed World. End of year record setting and a great cook out.

2.) Gatornationals before NHRA ruined it. Lots of Div 1,2,3,4 cars and people

3.) Sportsnationals @ No Problem. The racing was only a part of the fun.

The Little Guy Nationals at Suffolk Raceway. It was the best ever for the go fast guys on the East Coast. No class run offs. Didn't need to have class run you knew who was the fastest because they were in tear down that night. No ahfs to effect how fast people wanted to run. Just flat out record runs and an eliminator. Always run at the end of October. That was fun. Come to think of it I don't remember any track prepping being done. The racers had to figure out how to get down the track.

P.S. The racing was only part of the fun.

The Bowling Green points race. A full field of stockers at my favorite track in the whole country, plus I always get to see friends there I don't see anywhere else.

World Cup Finals - Imports vs. Domestics..... Fast heads up racing!!! An awesome array of all different kinds of makes and models, and no cars that aren't 9's or faster.

US Nationals of course

Anything at Norwalk.
