Default 1968 mustang suspension question

i have a 1968 mustang,428cj, pro shifted toploader, soft lock, cal tracs. i got out for the first time this year sunday, union grove. made 2 passes both passes the car made a move to the left after the 2-3 shift. the only thing that i changed was put a 1/2 turn more preload on the passenger side cal trac. i have looked over the suspension and nothing looks broke. any advice. thanks ron b

If the front end settles down about the same time it could be bump steer. Derek

i thought about that to. i have quite a few passes on the car and it usually goes pretty straight. weather permitting, i am going to set the cal tracs the same on both sides and go to the track sunday and see what happens. thanks ron b

I had the same issue. Started with preload, and it always drove to the right. We ended up setting the bars by adjusting the passenger side first and then the driver side. Ran ran a flat of preload in each bar and the car went straight.
