Default Compare these 2

I want to compare these 2:

305 Stocker Motors: 1. Has a Carb QJ 207 2. Has Fuel Inj. TPI set-up

Just let's say both have the same H.P.

Carb motor goes 112 mph TPI goes only 109 . WHY ???

Should the shift points be different on the TPI motor ??
If so, Higher or Lower than the Carb Motor ??
Should the Stall on the Converter be Different ? Higher or Lower ?

What other things can make the TPI get some MPH ??
60 foot times are very close to being the same too.
