Default 1992 AMC Spirit Stocker

There is no listing for this car and there is a gap in the classification between 79-84. Any help on the classification? Thanks

I presume you mean 1982 but regardless I'm sure you're out of luck unless you want to run it as a 79.

My wife used to have one of those gutless wonders. It was a 4cyl. 4 speed car. I only see a 4cyl. in the 1984 blueprint section but they were all Renault's by then. Hers wasn't that new. But the 79 classification section shows it available with a 304 !! A few mods would have made that a fun ride.

The 258 6 cylinder is a better combination.Mr Mantle runs it, and he can qualify up near the top when he so desires. My ex gremlin was usually an upper half of the ladder qualifier. And
both Jim and I could go some rounds in eliminations.

AMC over the years used many different manufacturers engines AND transmissions including their own. Depends on the particular model vehicle and the year too!!!
