I have a 67 Camaro with drum front brakes. I want to know what brand of disc brakes would be a good choice for this particular car.
thanks Corey |

you'll get answers all over the board, and you'll hear good and bad about all. We sell aerospace, wildwood, strange, and the limited applications moser has available. We sell more aerospace than anything. Some people don't like the aerospace, but we don't have a lot of issues with them, and when there has been an issue, they've always taken care of it.

I have aerospace on my car on all 4 corners. They work real good. The install was easy. The only issue was a few of the holes needed the threads chased. Other than that the fit was good. You wont believe the difference in braking with the discs. I think the fronts were a 15 lbs per side weight savings.

I have heard people bad mouth Aerospace. Had them on mine for over six years with no problems. Light, easy to install, don't drag, and stops great. Also have F.J.Smith's manual brake conversion. All works very well.
Not sure what more expensive brakes would do better.

Aerospace on all four corners of our '67...can stall it to the moon on any surface and it won't move.

Anyone know how to get the Wilwood front discs to quit dragging?

Bobby - When you fully retracted the pistons and first put the calipers/pads on the rotors did it require any effort? I've found some brake pads have just too much material/thickness when new to allow any clearance.
