Heartland S/SS first race Cordova Dragway

18 cars came out for an early season Heartland S/SS association race. The final was between two veteran drivers in new cars for the season. Jim Whalen defeated Mike Lund Sr in a double breakout final. I posted the final to YouTube at.

Thanks Joe for taking that video. Drew and I had a great time. To be completely honest I had not even sat in the car until yesterday morning, I did however move the seat forward after we got back from Belle Rose, Gary Emmons is just a bit taller than us Whalen's. Now it is Drew's turn next week at Indy.
