Im putting new control arm bushing and send it to alignment after what do you guys put caster camber ?? car is a 1969 nova G/SA thanks |

This is what was suggested to us, for our Bracket cars:
Drag Racing Chassis Setup (For stock type chassis) Here is the alignment info. Toe-in = 1/16" Caster – 3 - 4 deg. Camber = 0 (at ride height raised up 3”) Driver’s weight must be in left seat. Re: drag race alignment specs Camber is zero but as the front end rises on launch, the camber goes out the window. Caster - as much as you can get. About 5 degrees on both sides. Toe would be good at zero but around 1/16" toe in is preferred.

I don't think you can get that much caster, if you could the front tires would be rubbing the back of the inner fender.

On my 69 Nova the most caster I can get is 3 degree's before it starts pulling the camber off of zero. This is with driver in car and front end raised up 1 1/2 inches . I agree with Jim that if I could get 5degree's caster that my front tire would probably be rubbing the back of the wheel well's.
