A big thank you to the hard working crews at www.motormaniatv.com who bring us LIVE race coverage. The IHRA Div. 9 Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour at Piedmont Dragway was a great show, featuring a bunch of heads-up runs in Stock, including the all-G/CM final round, where Eddie Longhany defeated Kevin Locklear -- his second heads-up of the day. Lee Truell also had back to back heads-up F/CM runs in 2nd and 3rd round. Tip o' the cap to Sloan Racing Engines for supplying a lot of that power out there this weekend.

Great job also to Brandon Peterson for earning another Super Stock Ironman, and to runner-up James Stoneman, represent' the stick cars!

The folks at Piedmont Dragway did an outstanding job this weekend! Today's race started on-time at 12:15, as promised, and we ran all the finals before 5:30! I can't say enough good things about the way the track was kept prepared through two busy day's of racing, or the way the IHRA Team ran the show! Kudos to everyone for the efforts they made on our behalf! (I just wish the place was a little closer to home!)
