Hi gang - Well I'd like to tell you this is the 45th edition of this race but I'm really not sure and I know its close - maybe a local can tell us-or maybe someone can ask Gary Richard as he was here supporting Raceway Park from the beginning.I remember racing here in 1974 but how many times it was run before that I've no idea.

The couple hour ride coming here was no big deal - and they must have opened the gates early as there wasn't a line to get in .Plenty of pit space available so com'on down as they say ...........

Opps - one last thing - thanks to Governor Christy for once again making sure I got a great price on my diesel fuel . New Jersey doesn't have much to offer me but their fuel prices are the best ! !

Good morning all - This AM we at Raceway Park were greeted by white stuff.No, not snow but really , really thick fog .Visibility might be 50 yards or so and its going to take awhile to burn off for sure .Otherwise its not too bad - just over seventy degrees but the humidity is past 70 percent .And the barometer - well, its Raceway Park and we expe
ct it to be super and is - 30.04 .

I'm really not sure why but Raceway Park is one of the few stops here in D1 that doesn't offer a test n tune the day before a race so I've got nothing to report from yesterday .Well , maybe a little gossip but thats for later .Everyone is still excited about the events that took place at Indy and has an opinion . Myself - wish I could have been there to both join in and witness .

Englishtown for for many,many years has been the racers favorite - one of the reasons is the sleep in rule - thats when we all get to sleep in because you can't fire up before ten AM .So we'll be back a little later .........maybe i'll catch a few Z's in the meantime .

One last thing - the boss is here believe it or not and Christmas is only a few short months away so we'll be a smooth well oiled machine this weekend for sure - stick around for the ride .

The trucks and RV's are rolling in but you won't believe it - the fog is actually getting thicker ..........check the picture below then check the same shot an hour ago .

Larry , spoke with Ken - he says you used up your bonus getting the # 1 slot at Indy .Jury is still out getting the 'cub' reporters anything but i'm hopeful .

Surely you'll agree that I deserve the prize - in other instances close counts such as hand grenades , horseshoes ,and when I was younger I remember reaching second base now and again .................


Back to racing - Stock and just a few minutes ago S/S got their first shot at E-towns 1320 and its slow compared to say Cecil County a few weeks ago - I'd say anywhere from 12 to 15 hun.Stock has just been called to the lanes again .Sheets when available .......

Partly cloudy and very , very humid today with temps in the low eighties so far .

Sorry that I have been MIA, its been a crazy day. I have had a few issues with my car today and need to turn some wrenches later. Here are some random shots from todays actions. The weather is very warm and humid, water grains are 115, lots of moisture in the air. The DA is over 3000ft.

My guess why my car needs some attention, the guy in the driver seat. We can't start engines until ten, and Jack volunteered to help me tow it to the lanes, I think it was a mistake.

Stock and S/S got their second shot of the day - even slower than this morning ! ! Maybe it will cool off tomorrow .

Don't let Kenny fool you - his motto is there is no such thing as bad free help - he'll take help from anyone - and I'm proof as he let me drive his prized Shelby Mustang .
