Manual steering box
I have heard that I can convert my 1985 Monte Carlo from power steering to manual sreering by using an S10 steering gearbox. Anybody know what year S10 box will work? Thanks in advance for any advice.

There are two different boxes. A 3 bolt and 4 bolt cover. I believe the 3 was from 82-84 and then switched to the 4 bolt in 85-93. The 3 is a few lbs lighter than the 4.

Back in 87, I built a 79 Regal and installed a Chevelle manual box, at least thats what I was told it was from by my father. What year I have no idea. I know not enough info but at least it could be an option to look at.
