I need to hook up a sensor and magnets on my 12 bolt rear. Will a collar fit? There isnt much room on the rear yoke as a 9" ford has. Looking for ideas maybe a couple of pictures. Thanks.

There's room if you use a aftermarket pinion yoke. I have a strange yoke on my 12 bolt and the collar that I used from racepak fit; but it doesn't have a whole lot of clearance. I have about 50 thousands to spare and that;s it. One thing I had to do was open up the collar as it was too small for the yoke. Hope tis helps. Bill.

Bill, I have an aftermarket moser yoke. Its very tight. How did you mount the bracket to the housing? I have even less room on the front.

use the set up from a 9 inch Ford housing--- find a convienent place to install the pick up holder---drill and tap a 5/16 hole in the 12 bolt housing to mount the pick up holder install the ring and set the air gap on the pick up -- when you are finished with the whole thing it will look somewhat like a MSD crank trigger set up --FED 387

On my dana 44 I drilled 2 1/8" holes in the web and mounted an aluminum bracket to hold the pickup.

I have a MW rear yoke and a computech 9" collar on it, made a bracket for the pickup off one of the webs on the center section. I previously had the collar on my OEM yoke I just had to take off the seal shield and round out the square area.
computech has 2 sizes of collars and I cant recall 100% but I think I have the larger diameter on my yoke.

I had Simpson machine a yoke with all the clearances so I could use the Racepak collar. As others have done, I made an aluminum mount for the pickup and bolted it to the lower webbing. I also have some adjustability so the pickup is square to the collar magnets. Still have the template I think.

I have a Racepak collar for sale that fits the 12 bolt.
Worked for me for several years on my 12 bolt. Fits on the dust shield.
