Default Driverless drag car

The technology has been established. It's on our roads already. Who's going to have the first driver-less drag car? Oh man.....ha!

Why rob yourself of the fun? I enjoy driving them as much as I do building them. I dabble in RC planes and cars and they get boring after a while. I have flown in competition before and you don't get the same gut feeling you do sitting in the lanes before round 1. If they start this crap, I guess I will sell all my junk and farm full time.

If they did this with NASCAR they could run 500 miles with not one crash.
Audience = 0.

Well, maybe they could rig it so the video gamers at home could drive the cars. Now that's an idea...

"On the line is Larry Morgan and Steve Kent. Driving for Larry is @MikeBrown112 and for Steve is @LeadFootCarl"

I'm out...

Move along...

Question Re: Driverless drag car

You mean with light sensors, assorted timers, distance counters, rpm activated shifters and the slew rate ignitions nobody has done it yet?

If they would make computers 170 lbs like the old days they could replace drivers in the automatic cars.

I have yet to see one of those stupid autonomous cars on the road but i'd bet they go slow and miss a lot of freeway off ramps.

I'm kinda liking that idea about remote control racing.

Talking Re: Driverless drag car

I must be ahead of my fellow racers in this one. Too many times I have felt this way "driverless drag car" right after I am handed my ET slip.
