I used the .015 Fel Pro gasket on my 307. It was a 4.060 bore gasket I think? Unless you can find some old 283 steel shim gaskets I don't believe you will have a big selection.

I have some 283 shim gaskets at dads shop. Will be glad to inventory gaskets over weekend. I know there at least 2-sets...maybe more.

You realize you are talking about 3 hundredths of a compression point, of course...

Your best bet is Cometic, they aren't gonna be cheap, probably 80-90 bucks per gasket but they make a small bore gasket and they also make .018" thick gaskets...they will basically make whatever you want...t

I believe you would be happy with some ole 633 GM gaskets, they are still out there ...you just need to do some searching. M.J.
