Default Vegas fueling guidlines

Interesting fueling guidlines on tech page
dated 10/23/15. Looks like everyone
should read close and be careful......
Maybe just be easier to try to fuel before
getting to the track if possible?

What kind of bs is that? Is there a history of pit area fires at the strip at Las Vegas?

I'd like to hear the Worner's chime in on this because I'd say they are subject matter experts.

This sounds like something the authorities in NJ would try to make people do.

Must be concerned about all of the electrical radiation coming from the neon lights nearby. Is this a requirement for yard equipment too? I can see being safe, but this is a bit extreme. Absolutely sounds like something you would see in NY, NJ, CT, MA and CA, not Vegas.

These fueling guidelines have been in effect for a number of years at the strip.

What do the NASCAR guys (and gals) do during a pit stop when they race there?

apparently they don't have to follow the same guidelines...maybe in the future they will have to shut their cars off during a pit stop though just like pulling into a gas station.

maybe if NJ gets wind of this, they will have people in the pits that will fuel your cars for you. Then you won't have to lug those heavy fuel jugs around yourself.
