Cool A day at Ray Barton Racing Engines

So recently I received an invitation from David Barton ( General Manager ) to come by with my COPO for some adjustments and enhancements and decided to take him up on it .As i'm always looking for more so this was perfect and since they recently got the MOJO back in my ride this turned out to be a great opportunity for me .

As most folks think when they hear the Ray Barton name they think MOPAR but its just not so anymore as David and his staff speak General Motors and Ford well .Well enough that they now have several front running COPO's and a couple of Cobra Jets too.And i'm just as guilty as I never , ever thought i'd see the day when a Chevrolet banner would be hanging proudly in their shop and yet there it was .

I got the entire tour during the day - from the office to the dyno room ( which had a Supercharged LS 350 on while I was there ) .If the chance to visit ever comes up don't miss out - take the tour it's well worth the time .

Me? I can't wait to get to the track and try out the changes .

Great hard working people, give them anything and they will make it better.
Some of the fastest Drag Pak's, and COPO come from here.

a few years ago, I did a Mopar event at Maple Grove and had Wesley working for me, so we took a trip over to Barton's and Ray took us on a tour and we had a great time and Ray , David and the rest of the Barton gang there took great care of us and we had a wonderful time. Class Act operation for sure

In August at the Class Nationals I noticed that George Yago Jr. had a Ray Barton Racing Engines decal on the hood of his COPO. I asked about his experience there, which he said was very good. When asked how much the car picked up after Barton went through the motor he said "one second". Not several tenths, a FULL second. I'm not sure George has shown all of it yet.

First Class operation. First Class People. My first visit to the shop left me in awe. David's knowledge in fuel injection is impressive to say the least, and he is 100% dedicated to his work. Absolutely great people to deal with!

Ray is one of the sharpest minds in the business and David is one of the hardest working. There is great pride that they're customers are the fastest no matter the brand...

And a tour of Rays wouldn't be complete without admiring one of his wall of records:

Alot of history right here... Next time I will take some close up of some of the baddest runs ever in SS/AA and SS/AH...
