Default WTB 302 Ford intake

Looking for a D8AE-BA intake 78-80 Ford. For my U/SA project.

I sent a email to our tech guy to see if i can use it. It is for a truck.
D8AE9424BA Thats what the 9424 means.

In Ford's grand scheme of part numbering, 9424 refers to an intake manifold whether it is car, truck, tractor or weedeater. It is not a designation of a truck only part.

You might want to throw out an offer, before someone beats you to it. There might be a couple others looking for that. The shipping is a little extreme. All they can do is counteroffer or say no.

the casting number you give has been assigned to a Ford car and although it could well have been used on trucks it was first planned to be used on a big car like an LTD or something like that. The third character in the number would be a T if it was a truck designed item. Z would be Mustang or Cougar and S is Thunderbird and V is Lincoln. This system was used from 1957 til the late 90's. They used about every letter for some vehicle or the other.
