Well here we go again. We made the trip from Bradenton to SGMP yesterday 295 windy miles. Some times the traveling is as interesting as the event you never know what you might see. Here are a few photos from our last day at Bradenton and our travels to SMGP.
We got lucky and dodged a tornado Wednesday, while napping my phone started alarming after I got up the RV was shaking with a ton of rain. These are some of the clouds we saw. ![]() ![]() The local TV station showed something right over the track. ![]() |

Well day one is in the books. It turned out to be a great day for a race clear and a high in the mid 60s. I made it to the 3rd round and lost to Mike Griggs, Mike when on to a R/U finish to Chad Duke. The announcer had a lot of the names with the wrong car, standing in the lanes I here Robbie Welch winning a round and I'm in the lanes? I think the other Robbie Welch went further than I did. One thing I noticed here in TD is the amount Pro Chargers being used. They make crazy power, there where a number of TDs dialed 4.0. We did have one on track accident a TS car hit the wall, not sure who but he was ok. The HR car count was strong again with I believe 60 something cars here. Well todays another day, you've got to love these double races.
