2017 Fan Guide has obvious error on page 86. Probably just poor proof reading and it is just sportsman coverage, hopefully the proof reader won't be demoted to random tech inspector.With a possible death of hard copy ND's what's a proofing error in the whole enhancement agenda. I guess my expectations need to be reviewed too.

What makes you think "random tech inspector" would be a demotion? Try keeping up with them at a race, they do a lot for us for very little. Tony Tosto 3050 B/S What class car do you race with?

I have raced stk/sstk for 16 years. I have respect and admiration for our tech guys who continue to do their jobs seemingly without appreciation or recognition from NHRA. Wally Parks held a high standard for his publications to be correct in all ways. The "enhancements" we have experienced, including reduced tech inspections, have not improved fan or racer experience. The tech crews do a good job, but they should be given the chance to continue it. As far as proofing an expensive guide, who cares it was only sportsman racing.
